Jordan Schwartzberg, M.D.
Jordan B. Schwartzberg, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist who practices at the Boca Raton Skin Institute. He has been practicing in Boca Raton since 2004. He performs a blend of general dermatology, dermatologic surgery, including Mohs surgery, and cosmetic/aesthetic services.
Dr. Schwartzberg has a comprehensive medical and surgical dermatology practice, having performed several thousand cases of Mohs surgery. He treats most dermatologic conditions in adults and children, including eczema, psoriasis, rashes, acne, hair loss, warts, and many others. He routinely performs full-body examinations on his patients to check for skin cancers. Dr. Schwartzberg truly cares about his patients’ well-being and is committed to following his patients through their entire treatment process. He frequently personally calls his patients for follow-up of often complex medical problems and to check on them after surgery to make sure they are comfortable.
Dr. Schwartzberg has co-authored several articles for publication and has made presentations to medical societies. He also remains an active participant in ongoing medical research. Additionally, he has performed community activities in dermatology such as volunteering at CBS 4’s “Ask The Experts” skin cancer phone bank, contributing on Fox 29’s “One Minute Wisdoms,” and lecturing on Boca Raton Educational Television. He also continues to volunteer at skin cancer screenings.
Dr. Schwartzberg graduated Cum Laude in biology from the University of Miami and received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha (top 10%). He performed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Florida and completed his residency in dermatology and cutaneous surgery at the University of Miami, earning recognition for excellence in dermatologic surgery and excellence in research.
James Devoursney, M.D.
James J. Devoursney M.D. is a native New Yorker. He began his medical career as a Registered Nurse, after completing his Bachelor of Science at Molloy College. Dr. DeVoursney completed his M.D. at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He obtained his residency in the University of Miami Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery and graduated as Chief Resident. He is the proud recipient of the Chancellor’s Award for Academic Achievement in St. George’s University School of Medicine, Chief Resident Award from the University of Miami Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery and the George Ioannides Award in Recognition of Excellence in Resident Dermatology Teaching. He is a Fellow of the American Society for MOHS surgery, a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Andrew Weinstein, M.D.
Andrew H. Weinstein, MD is a Miami native and is a product of the Palmetto public schools. He earned a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Florida and went on to the Medical Scholar’s program at the University of Illinois. While a medical scholar, Dr. Weinstein completed his M.D., as well as advanced course work in public health and research methods. Dr. Weinstein returned to the University of Miami for internship in the Department of Medicine. Additionally, he completed a fellowship and residency in the Department of Dermatology at Jackson Memorial Hospital where he remains on facility. Dr Weinstein is a reviewer for the journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and a volunteer Assistant Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. While in the Department of Dermatology, Dr. Weinstein received fellowship training, spending two dedicated years performing clinical trials. As an expert in methodology, Dr. Weinstein has reviewed numerous publications. He is well published in the field of dermatologic therapy. Dr Weinstein is a Fellow of the American Society for MOHS surgery. Dr. Weinstein is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
